What is Memory?

Memory gives the AI long-term context about your project and preferences. Instead of starting every conversation from scratch, the AI can recall key facts, terminology, and patterns from previous sessions.

Memory Types

Project Memory

Domain facts, terminology, key files, and project conventions. Shared across all team members. Editable by project admins.

Personal Memory

Your individual preferences and workflows within the project. Only visible to you. Editable from your settings.

How It Works

  1. After chat conversations, the system automatically summarizes key information
  2. Summaries are stored as memory entries scoped to the project (or user + project)
  3. Relevant memories are injected into future chat prompts as context
  4. Over time, the AI builds a richer understanding of your project

Managing Memory

Memory entries can be viewed and edited through the project settings. You can:
  • Edit entries to correct or refine information
  • Delete entries that are no longer relevant
  • Add new entries manually for important context the AI should always know
